For this reason, every year the International Atomic Energy Agency publish a report on the theft, loss or lack of monitoring and control on the movement of the radioactive materials in some countries. Therefore, introducing new methods to deal with such threats is essential. One of the most effective systems for detecting radioactive materials and contaminants are radioactive portal monitors. In this study, the results of performance evaluation of large plastic scintillation detectors for use in this type of monitoring systems are presented. Initially, the design and construction of detection circuits, electronic and mechanical holders were done. Then, the functional tests of the device were performed using 60Co and 137Cs sources. Finally, the minimum detectable activity using this monitoring device was determined. The results of the tests to determine the minimum detectable activity of the system showed that it can detect a 60Co source with a minimum activity of 1 µCi at a maximum distance of 100 cm and a 137Cs source with a minimum activity of 2 µCi at a maximum distance of 75 cm. Regard to the obtained results, it was found that the developed monitoring system has the ability to detect the radioactive sources with good accuracy.}, keywords = {Radiation portal monitors,Plastic Scintillation,radiation sources,minimum detectable activity}, title_fa = {بررسی و مطالعه آشکارسازهای سوسوزن پلاستیکی برای به‌کارگیری در سیستم‌های کشف مواد پرتوزا}, abstract_fa = {امروزه با توجه به خطرات ناشی از مواد رادیواکتیو، کنترل پرتویی مرزها و مراکز حساس از اهمیت ویژه‌ای برخوردار است. به همین دلیل هر ساله آژانس بین‌المللی انرژی اتمی گزارشی از سرقت، گم شدن و یا عدم نظارت و کنترل بر جابه‌جایی مواد رادیواکتیو در برخی از کشورها را ارایه می‌دهد. بنابراین ایجاد و معرفی روش‌های نوین برای مقابله با چنین تهدیداتی بسیار ضروری خواهد بود. یکی از مؤثرترین سیستم‌ها جهت کشف مواد و آلودگی‌های پرتویی، پایشگرهای کشف مواد پرتوزا هستند. در این مطالعه نتایج ارزیابی عملکرد آشکارسازهای سوسوزن پلاستیکی بزرگ برای استفاده در این نوع از پایشگرهای پرتویی ارایه می‌شود. در ابتدا طراحی‌ها و ساخت مدارات آشکارسازی، الکترونیکی و نگه‌دارنده‌های مکانیکی پایشگر صورت گرفت. سپس آزمون‌های عملکردی دستگاه با استفاده از چشمه‌های آزمایشگاهی Co60 و Cs137 در حال حرکت و هم‌چنین آزمون‌های تعیین حداقل اکتیویته قابل تشخیص این پایشگر انجام و نتایج آن گزارش شده است. نتایج حاصل از آزمون‌ها تعیین حداقل اکتیویته قابل تشخیص پایشگر پرتویی نشان داد که سیستم آشکارسازی توانایی تشخیص چشمه Co60 با حداقل اکتیویته 1 میکروکوری حداکثر در فاصله 100 سانتی‌متر و برای چشمه Cs137 با حداقل اکتیویته 2 میکروکوری در فاصله 75 سانتی‌متر را دارد. با استفاده از نتایج به دست آمده مشخص شد که سیستم پایشگر ساخته شده توانایی تشخیص چشمه‌های با اکتیویته آزمایشگاهی به صورت ثابت و در حال حرکت را با دقت خوبی دارا است.}, keywords_fa = {پایشگر پرتویی,سوسوزن پلاستیک,چشمه‌های پرتوزا در حال حرکت,حداقل اکتیویته قابل تشخیص}, url = {https://jonsat.nstri.ir/article_1391.html}, eprint = {https://jonsat.nstri.ir/article_1391_0934f4445266236ea04012087efe76cd.pdf} }
