The data acquisition system of the Alvand tokamak is a very old system in 32 channels. Each channel has 2 kilobytes of data, 64 kilobytes total, which stores the experimental data of selected channels in binary format. The most important weakness of this system is the use of the CGA graphic adapter resolution of pixels of 4 bits in depth, which using old graphic user interface where it is impossible to display experimental data in more detail. Due to the old software used to display experimental data, it was necessary to have a graphical environment suitable to display on a typical modern computer for use by researchers at this laboratory. For this purpose, a software package were developed to speed up the data analysis of experiments. The core of this package encompass 400 lines and the graphical user interface consist of 3000 lines of Matlab code.
