Journal History
It is the first and oldest Persian language journal in the field of nuclear science, engineering and technology, which has been published under the title of "Atomic Energy Organization and New Energies Scientific Journal" since 1981. The title had changed into “Journal of Nuclear Science, Engineering and Technology" from the autumn of 2002.
Journal of Nuclear Science, Engineering and Technology, with the aim of publishing research articles, expanding research and promoting nuclear science and technology by publishing quarterly the latest scientific achievements of researchers from universities and research institutes in the field of nuclear science and technology and related sciences in Persian.
The first issue of the journal was published in 2002 with the publication license No. 8005/90 dated 90/4/4 from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and by obtaining the license No. 1339/2910/3 dated 83/12/11 from the Ministry of Scientific Journals Commission Science, research and technology gained scientific-research credibility.

Financial Policies
Revenue Sources and Article Processing Charges
As Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute has supported all of the publishing costs of JONSAT, article processing charge and any other publication fees in the journal are free for authors, so there is no article processing charges.
Subscription Fee
Jonsat has published as an open access electronic journal, so there is no subscription fee for audiences.

Journal of Nuclear Science, Engineering and Technology provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Jonsat is licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0). Licensees may copy, distribute, display and make derivative works only if they cite the original published article. In this journal and Under open access license, authors retain ownership of the copyright for their content, but allow anyone to download, reuse, reprint, modify, distribute, and/or copy the content as long as the original authors and source are cited properly.
