بررسی تجربی رادیونوکلییدهای تولید شده در اتاق شتاب‌دهنده خطی پزشکی با استفاده از آشکارساز ژرمانیم فوق خالص

چکیده
فوتون‌­های پرانرژی (10 تا 20 مگاولت) ناشی از شتاب‌دهنده پزشکی در اتاق درمان رادیوتراپی باعث تولید نوترون در آن محیط می‌شود. نوترون‌های تولید شده توسط مواد مختلف موجود در شتاب‌دهنده و مواد اطراف و حتی بدن بیمار جذب شده و آن‌ها را رادیواکتیو می‌کند. تابش نوترون و گامای ناشی از رادیوایزوتوپ‌های تولید شده در اتاق درمان برای رادیوتراپیست‌ها که به طور متناوب رفت و آمد زیادی به اتاق درمان دارند ممکن است ریسک پرتوگیری داخلی علاوه بر پرتوگیری خارجی داشته باشد. در این تحقیق بعد از اکسپوز پرتو ایکس با انرژی 18 مگاولت توسط شتاب‌دهنده پزشکی (مدل Varian  C/D2300) با استفاده از یک آشکارساز ژرمانیم فوق خالص قابل‌حمل زیر هد اصلی شتاب‌دهنده طیف‌نگاری انجام شد و 19 رادیوایزوتوپ در شتاب‌دهنده و مواد اطراف آن شناسایی شد.

چکیده English

High energy photons (10-20 MeV) that originate form medical linear accelerator in Radiotherapy treatment room, produce neutron. The produced neutrons id absorbed with different materials in the accelerator, the environment and even patient body that produced radioactive materials. These radioactive materials may pose a risk of radiation exposure to the radiotherapists who go to the treatment room frequently between patients. This process may cause internal radiation exposure in addition to external radiation exposure.  In this research after the expose of 18 MV X-Ray by medical accelerator (Varian 2300C/D), the spectrum of accelerator head was collected by portable HPGe detector and 19 radioisotopes were recognized.
