مقایسه‌ی بازده‌ی راکتورهای بستر ثابت و بستر سیال در تولید تتراکلرید زیرکونیم

چکیده
در این مطالعه، تولید تتراکلرید زیر‌­­­­کونیم که یکی از مراحل تولید زیر‌‌کونیم است بررسی می‌­شود. دو روش اصلی برای تولید آن از دی‌اکسید زیرکونیم وجود دارد. روش اول و قدیمی‌تر که در ایران هم از این روش استفاده می­‌شود، بستر ثابت نام دارد. این روش با وجود مزیت سادگی فرایند و تجهیزات، مشکلات زیادی نیز دارد که از جمله­‌ی آنها می­‌توان به بازده­ی پایین، مشکلات اپراتوری و ایمنی اشاره کرد. در این پژوهش، مقایسه‌­ای بین بازده­ی دو راکتور در تولید تتراکلرید زیرکونیم انجام شده است. هرچند ظرفیت یکی از این راکتورها چندین برابر راکتور دیگر است، اما با توجه به این­که نتایج مقایسه براساس واحد تولید زیرکونیم و تفاوت نسبت­‌ها انجام شده است­، دقت مناسبی دارد. براساس این پژوهش، بازده­ی کل در راکتور بستر سیال 14­% بالاتر از راکتور بستر ثابت است.

Comparative Study of Fixed and Fluidized Bed Reactor for Zirconium Tetrachloride Production

چکیده English

In this research, zirconium tetrachloride production is studied as one of the stages of zirconium production. Basically, there are two main methods for producing zirconium tetrachloride from zirconium dioxide: The first and older method used in Iran is the fixed bed process. Despite the advantage of the process and equipment simplicity, this method has a lot of problems, including low efficiency and operator safety problems. In this study, the efficiencies of this method and a newer technique that is fluidized bed reactor were compared. Although the capacity of the reactors are very different, according to that comparison which is based on the unit weight of zirconium production, the result has enough validity. Based on this study, the efficiency of the fluidized bed reactor is 14% higher than that of the fixed bed
