کانونی‌سازی باریکه‌ی نوترون‌های سرد با استفاده از شش قطبی مغناطیسی

چکیده
با استفاده از برهم­کنش بین گشتاور مغناطیسی نوترون و میدان مغناطیسی شش قطبی که منجر به یافتن معادله­ی مسیر خاصی برای حرکت نوترون می­شود، چگونگی حرکت نوترون در میدان مغناطیسی شش قطبی مورد مطالعه قرار گرفته و با استفاده از آن شرایط کانونی­سازی نوترون­های سرد در انتهای آهن­ربای شش قطبی بررسی شد. هم­چنین با بهره­گیری از نتایج حاصل از شبیه­سازی، نوع وابستگی طول موج
کانونی­شونده به شرایط مختلف از قبیل ابعاد و قدرت آهن­ربای شش قطبی به دست آمد. اثرات ابعاد چشمه بر روی میزان کانونی شدن نیز مورد بررسی قرار گرفت.

Cold Neutron Beam Focusing by Magnetic Sextupole

چکیده English

By means of interaction between neutron magnetic moment and magnetic sextupole that leads to a specific path equation for neutrons, the neutron motion in a sextupole magnetic field has been obtained. By utilizing the result, theconditions for focusing the cold neutron beam on the end of the magnet have been investigated. Also, using the simulated results, the focused wavelength has been obtained for different conditions depending on the dimensions of the sextupole magnet and its strength. The effect of the dimensions of the neutron source is also investigated on the focusing process.
